I can’t believe I photographed this little guy while he was in Mom’s tummy and when he was first born.  What a beautiful, amazing thing, to watch a child grow.  He is so full of life!  It was super fun to watch him and Mom interract with one another.  So much love and devotion.  I am honored to witness it .  Thanks, you two, for letting me watch your life through my lens.  Enjoy your Feature and Consider Yourselves Loved…

Over the last few years, I’ve received emails here and there asking if I’d ever consider doing a workshop.  Well – I hadn’t really considered anything like it until now.  Soooo —-  instead of workshops, I am SUPER excited to be offering Mentoring Sessions for the month of February only.  These are sessions for amateurs and professionals alike.  Because I will be offering information on many things (like pretty much whatever you want to know), I am asking that locals refrain from these sessions for this month.  HOWEVER – if you are local and want to do something like this with me in the future, shoot me an email anyway.  If I have enough interest, I may set something up. Now – I don’t claim to be “all that” when it comes to photography and the business of, but I am more than happy to share what I know with you.  It really does please me to see others succeed (I’m not just saying that!), so offering these sessions actually makes me kind of giddy.

I am a total copycat here…I was looking at http://www.debsphotographs.com/photoblog/ and saw that she had posted a beautiful commercial from State Farm.  Yes, People, State Farm.  Just love it .  It really did make me cry…

I’ll Be There

Boy, do I love this family .  I met Mom when she was pregnant and was fortunate enough to photograph her maternity portraits, and then newborn portraits of their beautiful daughter!  Here she is, an entire year later, and she is just as cute as can be!!!  She is full of energy and constantly on the go – she gave me a great workout!  I am also photographing Mom and Dad’s wedding this summer.  It is such a privilege to see my newborns grow up.  Thank you, “F” family, for letting me play with your little girl!!!  Enjoy your Feature and Consider Yourselves Loved…

This Mama began going into labor at 30 weeks.  I had my son at 31 weeks, so I can relate to the fright something like that creates in a mama.  After several weeks of caution, she was finally released off of modified bedrest.  She must have been very good at bedrest because this poor little guy was sooo comfortable, he waited until he was forced out .  She finally had him AFTER his due date.  Way to go, Mama!!!

What fun it was to see this happy child!  She was full of smiles and grins (until, of course, it got too chilly!) and just darling!  She would not sit still for one second, but it was fun chasing her around – AND – I got my exercise .  Thanks, W Family, for letting me play!  Enjoy your Feature and Consider Yourselves Loved…
